A mug is a type of cup typically used for drinking hot drinks, such as coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Mugs usually have handles and hold a larger amount of fluid than other types of cups. Typically, a mug holds approximately 8–12 US fluid ounces (240–350 ml) of liquid.
A coffee mug is a shell structure. A-frame structure consists of different parts. These parts are combined in such a way to make the structure strong. A ladder and a bicycle are good examples of man-made frame structures.
First, of course, a good mug has to look appealing, really lovely to your eye. That's greatly a matter of personal preference. But functional art can't stop with looks – it has to go quite a ways beyond. A good mug has to feel good to the touch, it has to work well, and it must be enjoyable to live with over time.
